"SCAR OBSCURA"

CD LAUNCH!!!!

LURGAN OCT 31st THE CEILI HOUSE

Hi everyone, many apoloigies for the lack of updates on the site. We'll be sorting the website out over the next week or two to get it fully updated. Alot has happen over the past year and the myspace page had become our main point of info and contact. This will change as we have the new album "Scar Obscura" complete and the line-up solidified!.

We've just uploaded two new tracks for you all to hear on our myspace page!!!

The new album "Scar Obscura" has now been completed and we are currently looking a distribution and getting the cd out to labels and management. We have decided not to go back with Casket Records as we feel it just wasn't working the way we'd hoped for.

The tracks up on the myspace are entitled "Metalbox" & "Terminus". Terminus is a very personal song for the band and has a different type of feel for us. Metalbox is a bit more aggressive and has a few nods to our influences on that one. An energetic track that we love playing and its had a great response anytime we've played it live.

Just click the banner at the top of the page and it will bring you straight there....Hope you enjoy!

On the live front we've just did a few gigs with Dutch metal band Ripsaw. Greta guys and we had a blast. We'll be heading over to Holland in Nov for 3 dates. All gig dates will up when we have 100% confirmation which should be very soon!!

Heres a tour report from Germany the last time we went overseas haha!!. enjoy.

The beys are back! Our fist trip into Germany was great and had a few suprises for us. Beginning with, right lads the first gig is in a Punk club in an old WW2 Nazi Underground bunker! Errrrr right OK. lets do it! After going down like 40ft into the place and through about 4 blast doors we finally hit the stage. Really weird feeling to play in there but with free beers and the best selection of radioactive sandwiches we were good to go. "The Crowd" was great but with only one real Metalhead in there was bit strange. The stage was wobbly as fuck and with us jumping around, Moros mike stand kept rapping him on the beaker! (No bad thing! J ) Our backstage area was the actual main bunker and was massive. The Fyredogs are good criac and with the beers flowingwell you can see from the photos whats happening there. It was the back to Randys abode for a shitload of Bitburger! The stuff is killer. drink as much as you like. no hangover in the morning. Fuckin great!!

Fri..we decided to get off our asses and head into the center of Cologne and went to see "The Dome" very impressive! Its a Gothic Cathedral that dominates the center of Koln. After contemplating how to rob the place Davy decided to critc the various artwork on display much to our amusement! No pleasing some people.

The next show was in "Surprise" another punk club! This venue was quite a bit bigger that the previous night and the soundchecks proved to be just as entertaining as the gig. Had a complete Muppet doing the sound and we were grateful for once that we couldnt speak German and didnt have to spend 40mins soundchecking. Bodo from the Fyredogs missed the soundcheck so Anto jumped up and played a few bars of "Pumpin Iron" and sung of the first time in his life! Good criac with both Bodo and Kaxx coming in for serious abuse from Axel the whole time! The gig was pretty cool and the re-action was great. The stage was fuckin soaking two songs in with beer and bottles being kicked all over the show! Got talking (trying to talk) to a lot for German metal fans at the show and jung out for a while which was cool.

The last of the shows was in Kalderkirchen which is Axels hometown. It was great and we had a blast at that one. It was different in so much as we were the only band playing and we were on at 9.30-10.30pm. The rest of the night it was free beer and Jager! In fact we managed to drink so much of that, that the bar manger started to charge us for the "Free Jager" at about 4am.at 1 euro a go it was all good anyway, well definitely go back there at some point soon. All in it was a great experienceThe Fyredogs in true German fashion had the whole trip run to presison.unlike the seat of the pants shit we had goin on over here so we are enternally grateful..c-ya soon the beys!!!

17 MARCH 06

Hey people, Germany Rocks! First off we gotta thank The Fyredogs for looking after us and being a pleasure to tour with, cheers guys we'll see you in Sept!. After a successful run the band will be heading back over for more shows. The gigs were excellent and kinda weird for us, 1st show was in and underground WW2 bunker complex which is now a Punk/Metal Club. Punk is pretty big over there and the crowds were doing some strange movements to our stuff that we haven't seen before. Re-action was great and looking forward to going back to extend the "Completely Satisfied Tour" (Anger you Fucker!!!). Pics of the tour will be going up over the next few days so keep an eye on the gallery.
Now we're home we'll be getting round to the business of writing the next cd. We'll still be doing some gigs but the main focus now has to the writing. Going to get the new songs straight into the live set so expect alot of new shit at the shows...a load of new Cd reviews in form around the world (USA, France,Germany, Greece and the UK) which you can check in the Reviews section....last peice of news, we've been invited to play at 2 Irish Festivals this year. We'll be second on the bill at the Ballymoney Bikerfest show (Outdoor Festival) and also at the Sligo Metalfest, loads of killer bands at these. Info just coming in about them so we'll have more of a detailed update in a week or so.....OK, have a great St Patricks Day!! we'll be down at the Thin Lizzy band in the Spring & Airbrake, Belfast tonight for a loada beers!! C-ya soon

The Beys.

14 FEBRUARY 06
So much for the break in gigging!  It seems things just went the opposite
way over the past few weeks.  The Soil/American HeadCharge/Panic Cell gig
was amazing and the response just Unreal! Thanx so much for the support was
great to see so many people down early to catch us (sorry we couldn't have
played for longer but Soil's tour manager has to be said was a complete
dick!)...new tees will be with us this week, didn't expect them to sell out
that quick! Cheers to the guys in the bands for being so cool with us and
par-taking in a bottle of Buckfast with us....proving to be too popular with
some of them, would have brought a crate if we'd a known! Thanx also to the
lads in Chosen for letting us headline only our 3rd gig in Dublin last Sat.
The crowd and bands were great to play for! ...Gearing up for the arrival of the
Fryredogs from Germany next week and hooking up with Primed for a short tour of the
North.(see gigs for full details).  C-ya out there!  The beys.

2ND JANUARY 06

Hi everyone, Happy New Year from The Beys!!! Had a blast down at our first Dublin gig and were informed that we were the headlining band on arrival, Pretty cool! Cheers to the guys from Primed for getting the shows going in Dublin.

This year looks set to be very busy and the most important one to date. We'll be taking a short break from gigging over the next 6-7 weeks. The time is needed to start work on the new cd. We've one track completed at the mniute and about 4 that need locked down. The live sound should be greatly improved with the band having geared up again and experimenting with some new sounds. We'll be locking ourselves into Studio2 and getting to work so check the site to see how we're getting on. Having said that we'll be playin with Soil/Headcharge & Panic Cell on the 30 Jan in the Limelight, Belfast. Tickets are available from www.wonderlandpromotions.co.uk, www.the-limelight.co.uk and at Katy Dalys in Belfast. Then it will be on to the Ireland/Germany tour with The Fyredogs and Primed! We'll probobaly do a new track at the Soil gig so get down early to check us out as we'll be on pretty soon after the doors are open! C-ya soon, The S.

27TH NOVEMBER05
Just in... We'll be supporting SOIL/AMERICAN HEADCHARGE and PANIC CELL in the Limelight Belfast on Mon 30 Jan. Thanx to Jose at Copro and the Panic Cell guys for getting this set up for us! Once we get the times n stuff we'll let you know. We'll be getting a 25-30 min set so get down early!! In light of the way things have been going in Lurgan we'll be running a bus down to this show, tickets available at Dare to be Different(Lurgan) and direct form the band (sinocence13@hotmail.com) price £10. The bus should fill up quick so get'em quick. One thing in relation to this it is an 18+ event and they have a pretty strict door policy at the Limelight in Belfast so ID is a must. Other news, some new reviews just in have been posted in the Media section. A few more stations have added us to they're playlists in Spain/Portugal/England and as far is Peru! Links are up for more info. Good to note that no less than 6 tracks have made the lists. Dec is pretty busy for us and we'll more than likely take Jan of gigging to get some writing started. Loads of ideas at the minute that need beat into shape. That said one new track has been locked down and is entitled "Brand New Revenge". We debuted it in Lurgan in Cheers and got a excellent response! For the first time live it was pulled of well and is sure to become a mainstay in the set....btw a big FUCK YEAH!!!! to everyone at the gig there on Fri, blown away with it, you guys kicked ASS!!! c-ya soon. \m/

15TH NOVEMBER 05

Hey guys....Right the date for the next show in Lurgan is at Cheers Bar, FRI 25 NOV!!!...nice to know so many rumours are running around our home town, fuck knows where it starts!  We'll be playin Cheers once more before Xmas with The Deadend Sluts and hopefully Condemned.  The Xmas shows are some of the most enjoyable so we'll be looking foward to kickin your ASS with a few friends of ours! The writing has been going well and Davy is getting a serious workout on the new stuff! We've about 4 tracks now that are currently being beat into shape at Studio 2. Thats all for now, we'll c-ya soon....the beys \m/

1ST NOVEMBER 05
The updates have finaly been sorted out and a word of thanx to Andy from HFC for his continued support with the website. We've started the writing process and are locking down 3 tracks at the minute. Bit early to say were the sound of the next cd is going to go but with Davy now hittin the kit with an extra boot it looks like its going to be a heavier affair. Things are going well on the live front and we've reached out to few bands from the South of Ireland. We will be playing with Primed, Eyeclosed and Speedking on individual dates around the North (see gig page for full details). We should be playin in the South before Xmas with one or two of the above bands. The MP3s for "Requiem & Psycho" are up NOW!!! on the Release page. There will be more lyrics and stuff going up soon so keep an eye on that. Hope fully we'll be able to annouce some bigger news soon but as we're finding out the bigger shows take abit of time to get confirmation so as soon as we know you'll know! Next gig on Sat with Primed at RocKD, Katys Belfast. C-ya there.

14TH SEPTEMBER 05
Hi, welcome to the newly updated Sinocence website. The new album “Black Still Life Pose” is available NOW! from Virgin and HMV stores throughout the UK. For worldwide sales the album is available from Amazon and a host of Internet stores (listed on the links page). A word of thanks to everyone who made it down to the launch gig in the Rosetta during the Belfast riots. The show went ahead as planned despite a complete lock down of the city, amidst the total idiocy that was shown throughout Belfast that night. We’ll be re-arranging the show with The Sluts & Choke very soon so watch this space. Sinocence have also been added to the Kerrang radio playlist “Psycho” being the song of choice so feel free to e-mail and request the track. Our promos are due to go out later this week so the reviews shouldn’t be too long before they are back. The myspace page is also up and running with 4 downloadable MP3 tracks and updated info. www.myspace.com/sinocence. The tracks on myspace will be alternated and we’ll be uploading a few surprises in the future. We have more shows tbc so once we know you’ll know! Cheers C-ya soon

'BLACK STILL LIFE POSE'

2005 has proven to be another successful year for Sinocence and its only half way through. After the gigs with Therepy and Wednsday 13 earlier this year the band set to work on writing the 3rd and final cd of the 'Acceptable Level of Violence' Trilogy. The cd was not to be as they have signed a 2 year global distribution deal with the before mentioned Copro Records. This means that they have been given the oppertunity to release their first 12 song album - (Still Black Life Pose) throughout the world. The Album includes 'Requiem' (never before heard) and 'Psyco' and is to be released on the 29th of August 2005.

The 19th of May saw the band embark upon their UK + Ireland tour with fellow rockers OUTLAW for 10 days to 'raise all kinds of hell' and yes, that was to be the case taking in the famous Ruskin Arms along their way.

Returning to the studio on the the 13th of June was more than a pleaure to reunite with the 5th member of the band and producer - Franky McClay of Einstein Studios. The experience was per usual set to be some of our most cherished memories or our lives. Franky we tip our hats to you once again and hope to return to you for a second albums recording. Truly our best friend. The Sins.

Oh yes......we would like to share with you the loss of Moro's Ltd Flying V that ended life wedged in the motor of Luton Airports Conveyor belt as easyjet were so kind to treat it like shit. We keep you upodated on the battle to get conpensated.

This site will be completely redesigned and revamped in the not to far off future and we would like to thank all the people that have supported us and believed in us over the years especially the fans that never cease to surprise us. This will always be about you. You rock.

All lyrics for the new album will be available here soon!!

New gig dates coming soon!!

25TH DECEMBER 04
Sinocence would like to express thier condolances to the Abbot family and the musical family of Dimebag Darrell. We lost a true Legend last week who's comitment to Metal and living the lifestyle was an example to us all. You'll be sorely missed!....Respect!!!

2ND DECEMBER 04
Hey everyone, thanx to all who came down to the Wednesday13 gig in the Limelight and the maniacs in Portadown. We enjoyed the shows and was good to meet the W13 guys and get stuck into the crowd in Portadown (literally)!! The Battle of Britain Final in London has been put back until Feb 05 which gives us more time to arrange a few more shows in the UK around that event. At the minute we’re still writing more material to add to “TBDS” to make it a full length CD. The tunes are more upbeat and have a definate harder edge to them. We’ll be doing a few shows soon and will be playin our first show in the Derry with “Blest by the Beast” on Wed 29th of Dec. (full listings in the gig section). We’ll c-ya at the shows \m/

30TH NOVEMBER 04
The response to the new CD “The Beautiful Death Scene” locally has been great and we’ve sent a batch of them off for review to various mag/webzines. Shouldn’t be too long before we have some in from across the globe. We have also this month been added to play radio playlists in Belgium and Poland (3 Tracks there!!!) and are set to be included in other counties in the coming weeks. (see Radio Page) Although the CD is only out we’re always working on more tunes and have a couple that will definatly make the cut for the next one. We’ll be concentrating on gigging a lot more in the coming months so keep an eye on the gig section as we’ll be announcing more shows soon……keep it real!!
